With the recent Ukraine conflict, the world has seen changes in relationships shaped by political and economic restrictions. With sanctions applied on Russia, the economic partnership between Europe and Russia has been replaced by other players, notably China.   My investing muse Earth has hit the 8 billion population mark recently. The below is extracted from a Nov 2022 UN  post : While  it took the global population 12 years to grow from 7 to 8 billion , it will take approximately 15 years—until 2037— for it to reach 9 billion, a sign that the overall growth rate of the global population is slowing. We are seeing more developed countries with ageing challenges, a drop in births and longer life expectancy.
