Over the course of the last weeks, AI has been hogging the headlines. Now, concerns have been raised by various leaders on the exponential growth of AI. There is a news article calling for a 6-month pause on AI development. There is a call from various business leaders including Elon Musk on the development of AI. Elon Musk was one of the early investors of OpenAI (ChatGPT). The Dangers of AI Here are some of my tweets & muse with concerns about AI (for the week ending 01 Apr 2023) Regulations are needed for AI especially when the market potential is immense. We shouldn't take it lightly when AI can be far superior. Regulations should not catch up. Regulations must be there to stop exploitation and criminal intent. AI - it is not just about the industrial application or commercial value. Regulations need to be set to frame reasonable scope to clamp on evil exploitation and anti-competition practices.
