Recently, Tesla completed an upgrade to its Shanghai plant, which media reports say has boosted capacity to around 1.1-1.2 million units.
Tesla has 650,000 units of annual capacity at its California plant, including 100,000 units of annual capacity for the Model S and Model X, and 550,000 units of annual capacity for the Model 3 and the Model Y.
In addition to these two factories, Tesla's factories in Berlin, Germany and Texas, USA both have an annual capacity of over 250,000 units, and they currently only produce the Model Y.
Earlier on October 2, Tesla announced that Model Y production at the Berlin plant exceeded 2,000 units per week.

My investing muse

Tesla looks on track to hit 1.4m vehicles in 2022.  Let us research before investing.  How will Tesla be able to navigate across the choppy macro waters?

With the upgrades and new Gigafactories, Tesla's annual production can potentially reach over 2.25 million units per year.  This does not include their other products like the Tesla insurance, Semi, Cybertruck, Optimus Bot and their solar/battery products.  There is also potential for Tesla to move into other "applications" not limited to Artificial Intelligence (AI), data analytics, military functionality and more.  Tesla is one of the best coming to innovative sustainable solutions.

While Tesla remains one of the best investing options, the macro could play its part with demand erosion, inflationary pressures, and reduced disposable income along with the other challenges in climate, war, food, energy and supply chain.

Let us research before investing.
